Loved this restaurant! Friendly staff and amazing atmosphere. Delicious food and drinks. It's definitely worth a visit when you come to Merimbula!

Well, Sue Probert has called it! Best meal of the trip so far, and that's saying something! Pumpkin Rotolo, Florence Style 500g Sirloin Steak, Zucchini Flowers & Italian Potatoes! To finish the Limoncello cheesecake! Scrumdidliumptious! A slice of Italy in Merimbula!

Absolutely loved the place. The food, service and staff were amazing. Shout out to Sonia, great personality and nothing was too much for her. There were 8 of us celebrating a 60th. Will definitely be coming back on our next trip down.

This is one of my all-time favourite restaurants! Every time I visit Merimbula, without fail I visit Bar Monti. I am never let down. The choice of traditional Italian food is fabulous, and every dish is delicious! We started with a Limoncello Sour cocktail which was the best I have ever tasted - could not stop at one! Then we ordered the Arancini balls, Calamari Fritti, the Pumpkin Rotolo, and the Morton Bay Bug spaghetti. And for the kids, they had a pizza. OMG, every dish was delicious (as usual)! This was next level Italian food and if you haven't tried it, you are missing out. Oh, and almost got to mention the desserts (how could that be forgotten)! We had the Tiramisu, the Baked Limoncello cheesecake and the Chocolate mousse to share - pure decadence and totally delicious. More please!! The staff were attentive, pleasant and efficient, the atmosphere very authentic (just love the outdoor eating area), and the food delicious! And very kid friendly as well. Loved it! We shall return yet again!

Amazing Italian food. Bar Monti was recommended to us by our accommodation on our first night. We loved it so much we ate there for three more nights. Each time trying a new dish. Highly recommend the Pepperoni pizza, prawn pasta, pork chop (if it’s on the menu- it’s incredible), Italian potatoes and limoncello baked cheesecake. Everything was perfectly cooked, full of flavour and completely delicious. Book a table. If it’s not busy, you can walk in. We sat outside and it was very cozy. There were plenty of heaters on the cold nights. Highly recommend.

My husband and I are at Bar Monti for my birthday this week. We hadn’t been before but had heard great things. The drinks, entrees and mains were all delicious, reasonably priced, and well proportioned. Our waitress was fabulous. I didn’t get her name but she was very attentive, friendly, vibrant, and sassy in the best way possible. 11/10 for everything! We will be returning! Thank you!

This is a very cool setting, reminds me of restaurant settings in Italy. A mixture of cosy ambience to cool causal outside sitting. Staff are on point, friendly, and very knowledgeable of the menu with prompt service. The food was enjoyable, with the focus on quality not cheap and overloaded. This is great value for a great night out. We both enjoyed and would recommend to all.

Excellent restaurant! Visiting Merimbula for a few days some friends recommended this place and we were beyond impressed! The atmosphere is warm and stylish and the staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Music wasn’t too loud and the ambiance was lovely. Food was absolutely delicious! They make their own pasta and you can tell it’s amazing! Wine was also delicious they have a fabulous selection of wines and cocktails too. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening we will definitely be back next time we visit!
